For the last few months, Hulu has shed only a minimal amount of content, but rarely as little as it’s losing in April. Only nine movies are heading for the door by the end of the month, most of which were direct-to-video releases that didn’t have a big audience in the first place.
And the Rotten Tomatoes scores on most of these films are pretty terrible. The vast majority of Hulu subscribers probably won’t even notice these titles are gone, and fewer will miss them.
Among the soon-to-be departed movies, the one that looks the most promising is Resurrection, a psychological thriller starring Rebecca Hall as Margaret, a single mother who seemingly has a mental breakdown after a man from her past named David (Tim Roth) reappears in her life.
The question hanging over the film is whether Margaret is going crazy or if she’s truly in danger from the man she once knew.
