When Frankie Grande married husband Hale Leon Grande nearly three years ago, his sister Ariana Grande described the pair on her Instagram Stories as “two very incredible and cosmically destined souls.”
Now, the Celebrity Big Brother alum, 42, exclusively told PEOPLE that their “destined souls” have fallen even “deeper” in love with each other over the years as the couple approaches their third wedding anniversary on May 4 — or what he likes to call “May the Fourth be with you.”
At the 12th Annual Makeup Artists & Hairstylists Guild Awards in Los Angeles on Feb. 15, Frankie opened up about his married life and what he hopes to do with Hale, 32, for their upcoming anniversary.
“We did our honeymoon on a cruise, and I’ve just kind of been wanting to go on another cruise with my husband,” he told PEOPLE. “Fingers crossed.”
Frankie proposed to Hale, an actor, in June 2021 after two years of dating during an immersive VR experience. They tied the knot in May 2022 during a Star Wars-themed ceremony officiated by his mom, Joan Grande, in Florida.
“I feel like the longer we get into our relationship, the deeper that we fall in love,” Frankie told PEOPLE ahead of the couple’s next anniversary. “The trust just becomes even deeper, and so I think that maybe there’s even things that I’m still learning about my husband that he’s just feeling comfortable sharing.”
“I’m still learning a lot about him in a beautiful way, and we’re becoming even more intimate the longer that we are married, which is, I guess, unexpected,” he further explained. “I don’t know that I’ve ever heard of that. I am like, ‘Wow. I’m learning even more about you the longer we’re together,’ and it’s nice.”
Added Frankie: “It’s really nice that we continue to learn more and more about each other and explore and find new things to be in love with.”

Before the wedding anniversary, Frankie told PEOPLE he’s planning to “binge” The Traitors season 3 to watch fellow Big Brother alums Danielle Reyes and Derrick Levasseur — “some of my best friends ever” — compete on the Emmy-winning reality competition.
Frankie will also be supporting his younger sister, as Ariana, 31, is nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Wicked at the Academy Awards on March 2.
“Oh, I know what my sister’s wearing, and I’m very excited, and it is magnificent,” he revealed of Ariana’s Oscars outfit.
