Guy Fieri is showcasing his proud uncle status with another academic achievement from his nephew.

In a social media post, the Tournament of Champions host, 57, praised his nephew, Jules, 25, for graduating from Loyola Marymount University’s Loyola Law School and receiving his Master of Science in Legal Studies (MLS).

“I could not be more proud of my nephew, Jules,” Guy wrote alongside images of him and other family members with Jules in his cap and gown. “He has worked full time as an agent in the music industry while attending law school at night for the last 2 years. Wow!”

The caption continues, “Hard work, dedication, perseverance and determination are just [a] few words that represent my amazing nephew.”

In the comment section of the three-photo post, Jules returned the affection, writing, “Only possible with the amazing support system of our family. Thank you for pushing me to be my best.”

For his university, Jules shared why he chose the accelerated master’s program aimed towards professionals instead of going the juris doctor (JD) route with his legal studies.

“It sounded like a great option for me because I never really wanted to be an attorney, but I want to own my own business one day,” said Fieri. “I’m a music agent, so I also want to be able to advise my clients on the legal side of what I do. I deal with contracts every day, but I couldn’t fully understand everything I was doing.”

Guy, who has two sons, Hunter, 28, and Ryder, 19, with his wife Lori Fieri, 53, has raised Jules since his mother, Guy’s sister Morgan, died in 2011 from metastatic melanoma.

The Fieri family also celebrated Jules when he graduated from California State University San Marcos with his bachelor’s degree in 2022. “SO PROUD of my nephew Jules for working hard in college at San Marcos and now living the dream working in the music business,” Guy told PEOPLE at the time.

Just before graduating, Jules took to social media to muse over his career pursuits and life goals. “Growing up around festivals and music, working in the industry has naturally been my focus since I became old enough to start thinking about what I wanted to do with my life,” he wrote at the time. “After a summer of interning I am proud to have officially signed my offer as a full-time employee of Spin Artist Agency.”

The post continued, “Life has been moving way too fast but at the same time it feels good to be at the start of a career path I always envisioned myself pursuing. Lucky to have such amazing people around me, thank you to all who have contributed to my life up to this point and special shout out to my sd crew for an unforgettable last 4 years.”
