Gypsy Rose Blanchard is loving her body and wants the world to know it.
Gypsy Rose, 33, took to Instagram on Sunday, April 13, to flaunt her fit frame, sharing a before-and-after post via the social media platform and captioning it, “My 25lbs weight loss 💗.”
The post featured an older photo of Gypsy Rose, who gave birth to her first child in December 2024, dressed in a figure-hugging black dress while posing on a red carpet. It was positioned next to a more recent photo of Blanchard posing for a selfie in a mirror while dressed in a snug white halter top and blue jeans.
The Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up star, who went to prison in 2016 for second-degree murder following the death of mother Clauddine “Dee Dee” Blanchard, and was released in December 2023, received a string of supportive comments from fans.

“Good job Gypsy you look amazing,” wrote one follower while another wrote, “You look absolutely beautiful.” The response seemingly touched Gypsy Rose as she took to the post’s comments section herself to elaborate on her weight loss journey.
“I’ve seen a lot of comments of people asking how I lost the weight so my weight loss journey started once getting out of prison … when I started eating healthier instead of prison food, the weight begin to fall off,” the reality TV star explained. “I started eating twice a day and smaller portions.”
Gypsy Rose, who shares daughter Aurora, three months, with partner Ken Urker, was seemingly so proud of her new look that she also changed her Instagram profile photo with a snap from the white halter-top shoot.
Gypsy Rose gave birth to her child exactly one year after her release from prison, with Urker, 32, taking to Instagram on January 1, 2025, to share the couple’s news. “Welcoming 2025 with the greatest gift of all,” Urker wrote alongside a photo of him, Gypsy Rose and their baby in the hospital.
Urker told TMZ at the time that the birth took place in Gypsy Rose’s home state of Louisiana. “Aurora is healthy and we are so happy,” Urker told the outlet.
Just twelve months prior, Gypsy Rose completed serving seven years in prison. Olas Godejohn, Gypsy Rose’s boyfriend in 2016, conspired to kill Dee Dee with Gypsy Rose, with Godejohn ultimately stabbing her to death. Godejohn pleaded guilty to first-degree murder and was sentenced to life in prison.

Throughout her childhood, Gypsy Rose was convinced that she had various ailments, including leukemia, muscular dystrophy and brain damage, and was told that she required a feeding tube and a wheelchair.
The saga was depicted in the 2017 documentary Mommy Dead and Dearest, and the 2019 Hulu limited series The Act, in which Gypsy Rose was played by actress Joey King.
