Even on a night as star-studded as the 2025 Academy Awards, Halle Berry proved she’s still capable of outshining the rest on the Oscars red carpet.
When Berry, 58, graced the crimson rug outside the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, she turned heads in a reflective Christian Siriano custom gown covered in disco-ball mirror embellishments.
The body-hugging silhouette was meticulously tailored to fit every curve, and Berry emphasized that when she struck a pose from the side that revealed transparent side cutouts on the skirt that exposed her mile-long legs.
The Oscar winner looked ready to hit the Studio 54 dance floor as she twirled for the cameras. Her minimal beauty look, which included a subtle smoky eye, a touch of highlighter and a slick, flipped-up bob tucked behind her ears, is also worth noting.
She let her dress do all the talking, eschewing jewelry except for small diamond hoops. Berry did, however, take a moment away from the flashing cameras to talk with her former costar and longtime friend, Adrien Brody.
She rushed up to him and planted a friendly kiss on the Best Actor nominee.
The Monster’s Ball actress was clearly in Oscars mode, as the moment was a throwback to the now-infamous kiss that Brody gave Berry when she presented him with his first Academy Award (for The Pianist) in 2003.
That year, she wore not silver but gold in an Elie Saab gown, which featured intricate embroidery and a form-fitting silhouette similar to the look she wore tonight.
More than two decades later, Berry is still using the fashion stakes in a look made for going from the ceremony to the after-parties without missing a beat. Here’s hoping she’ll share a dance with Brody there, too.
