Halle Berry wore a striking metallic look to the premiere of Crime 101 in London on Wednesday, Jan. 28.
Berry, 59, wore a black bodysuit with a plunging neckline paired with a silver chainmail-inspired skirt. The actress accessorized the look with a dangling silver floral pendant and eclectic silver rings. She kept warm in a sleek black trench coat fit for the London winter weather. Her shoulder-length brunette hair was styled in loose waves with her bangs framing her face.
The Oscar-winner stars in Crime 101 as “disillusioned insurance broker” Sharon, who unexpectedly crosses paths with “elusive” high-profile thief Davis (Chris Hemsworth), finding themselves forced to work together as a detective (Mark Ruffalo) is hot on their trail, according to a synopsis on IMDb.
“As the multimillion-dollar heist approaches, the line between hunter and hunted begins to blur, and all three are forced to confront the cost of their choices — and the realization that there’s no turning back,” the synopsis adds.
“I’m real good at reading people,” Berry’s character tells Hemsworth’s as they suss each other out in the trailer. “What have you read about me?” he asks.
“You look like a person who has secrets. You got the cars, the clothes. But can’t seem to look me in the eye,” Berry’s character replies.
The trailer shows glimpses of Hemsworth’s character’s various robberies along L.A.’s 101 freeway, culminating in posing as a driver for Ruffalo, 57 — who drops not-so-subtle hints that he’s onto his old Marvel costar.
