Peacock had a 3-year contract with Crown Media, the company that creates Hallmark content. But that contract is ending on May 1. Crown Media most likely wants to push subscribers to their own streaming platform, Hallmark+.

What Is Hallmark+?
Hallmark+ is the new, exclusive streaming home of Hallmark’s enormous library of content. It was originally called Hallmark Movies Now, but rebranded to Hallmark+ in September 2024. A subscription to Hallmark+ gives you access to all the new movies that premiere on the Hallmark Cable channel, plus exclusive original content.
Hallmark+ also comes with a perk that other streamers don’t — a connection to the Hallmark greeting card brand. Hallmark+ subscribers receive free greeting cards, unlimited eCards, and discounts in Hallmark Gold Crown stores.
How Much Does Hallmark+ Cost?
You can purchase either a monthly or a yearly Hallmark+ subscription. The monthly plan is $7.99/month, while the yearly option costs $79.99/year. A free one-week trial is available for those who wish to test the service out and sample some of your favorite Hallmark content.
