This year’s tournament kicked off on Aug. 24 and will conclude with the women’s final on Sept. 6 and the men’s final on Sept. 7. The 2025 US Open boasts a $90 million purse — the largest in tennis history, and a $15 million increase from 2024, per the tournament.
Reigning 2024 champions Jannik Sinner and Aryna Sabalenka are both eyeing back-to-back US Open titles. Sinner will have to fend off stars like Carlos Alcaraz and American favorite Taylor Fritz, while Sabalenka’s toughest tests could come from Iga Świątek and Coco Gauff.
For those unable to make it to the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York City, there are a few ways to watch all the action from home.

Who is competing in the 2025 US Open?
Aside from Alcaraz and Fritz, Sinner will be facing competition from favorites including Alexander Zverev, Jack Draper, Ben Shelton, Novak Djokovic, Alex de Minaur, Casper Ruud and Tommy Paul.
On the women’s side, Sabalenka will be defending her title from stars like Gauff, Świątek, Jessica Pegula, Mirra Andreeva, Madison Keys, Jasmine Paolini, Amanda Anisimova and Emma Navarro.
