Hugh Jackman is still perfecting his jump rope routine for his next set of concerts at Radio City Music Hall.

On Wednesday, April 9, Jackman, 56, shared a video to Instagram showing him and personal trainer Beth Lewis competing a complex-looking routine that involved the Deadpool & Wolverine star crossing the rope over his arms and between his legs, all set to Shawn Mendes’ 2016 hit “Treat You Better.”

Jackman appeared to finish the routine without a mistake, later celebrating in the video with his trainer.

“Now if I can just do this on stage!!! See you at Radio City Music Hall,” Jackman wrote in the caption to his post. “Next shows April 18 & 19. Link in bio for the complete list of shows.”

Jackman has been performing concerts at New York City’s Radio City Music Hall on a monthly basis since the concert series — titled From New York, with Love — kicked off in January. The concerts see Jakcman perform songs from musicals he has starred in on the stage on the big screen, including The Boy From Oz, Les Misérables, The Greatest Showman and The Music Man.

Jackman has shared behind-the-scenes footage of him rehearsing the jump rope routine for his shows a number of times in recent months. Back on Jan. 26, he admitted that he and Lewis had “worked for months and months to get me remotely close to being ready” to perform the routine live on stage and that he “still messed up” the choreography during the first weekend of performances in January.

The actor last updated his followers on the jump rope performance on Feb. 7, when he wrote on Instagram that he had made “slow progress” with the routine. “Patience, determination and repetition,” he wrote at that time. “Beth wasn’t giving up and neither was I. We call this the ‘dance that got away.’ ”

Altogether, Jackman will perform more than a dozen concerts in N.Y.C. throughout 2025, with the next set of From New York, with Love performances scheduled for April 18 and April 19. Tickets remain on sale for the performances, which occur over one weekend each month through October 3 and 4. The actor also had scheduled a performance in London’s Hyde Park for July 6, but he canceled that concert date in February and cited “an unforeseen conflict in my schedule.”
