Idris Elba and his daughter are getting back to content creation.
The Heads of State star, 53, and his daughter Isan, 23, marked their return to TikTok with a hilarious meme. In the video, posted on Monday, Sept. 29, the father-daughter duo stood back to back, as they voiced the words to a popular sound bite from Hulu’s The Kardashians. Elba and his daughter were dressed in elegant attire as they acted out the words together.
“Okay guys, we’re back,” Isan mouths to the camera. “Did you miss us? ‘Cause we missed you,” Elba adds.
“Your favorite duo is back,” Isan wrote in the caption.
In addition to Isan, Elba is also the father to son Winston, 11, whom he shares with ex-girlfriend Naiyana Garth. The Luther actor told PEOPLE that his children motivate him through hard times.
“They’re a part of me,” Elba said of his kids in 2017. “They are the reason I get up and do it. When it’s a hard day and I think about bringing them up, I go, ‘Thank you for existing so I have a purpose.’ ”
The doting dad may be known for his huge acting roles around the world, but one role in particular proved to be a hit with his son. While speaking with Entertainment Tonight about his movie Knuckles, a spinoff of the Sonic the Hedgehog films, Elba shared that his son Winston is a big fan of his animated character Knuckles.
“He loves seeing Knuckles. He loves Knuckles as a character, and I think he loves recognizing his dad’s voice and stuff,” Elba said of the role.

Welcoming Isan and Winston — in 2002 and 2014, respectively — has also helped the actor and DJ to nurture his relationship with himself.
“My children love me and maybe that’s helped me love myself a bit more,” he told Esquire UK in February 2023.
Speaking to PEOPLE about his favorite part of parenthood, the Hijack star revealed that he loves “the magic of watching their personalities form uniquely to them,” calling it “human magic.”
