Is it possible for David Beckham and Victoria Beckham to even live in a house that was decidedly anything less than posh?
David and Victoria, who have been married since 1999, famously split time between London and Miami, the home of the soccer team the retired athlete owns.
When the parents of four — they share children Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper — are in England, they reside in a massive estate that they’ve been offering fans glimpses of via social media and their eponymous Beckham docuseries.
“The fact that when everyone’s in bed, I then go around, clean the candles, turn the lights on to the right setting, make sure everywhere is tidy,” David said in the Netflix documentary about his home cleaning habits. “I hate coming down in the morning and there’s cups and plates and, you know, bowls. I clip the candle wax, I clean the glass, that’s my pet [peeve] — the smoke around the inside of a candle.”
He added, “I clean it so well, I’m not sure it’s actually appreciated so much by my wife, in all honesty.”
Victoria, meanwhile, chimed in to note that she is appreciative of David’s cleanliness.
“He’s just so perfect,” she gushed.
