On Friday, March 21, a person who goes by the username @joozyb on TikTok levied allegations against Gatto, 48, in a video shared on the platform.

In a second video uploaded the same day, she also shared two screenshots of DMs allegedly shared between the two. The alleged messages seem to show Gatto telling the woman that he would leave “two meet and greet passes” for her at the box office. The pair allegedly continued to speak after the show.

“I was drunk, whatever, and he was texting me all this stuff. And, like, it was starting to get a little weird, you know,” she said in her video. Gatto also allegedly put the messages, which appear to have been exchanged on Instagram, in vanish mode.

One day later, on Saturday, March 22, a second woman who previously worked with Gatto on Impractical Jokers claimed Gatto sexually harassed her.

On Saturday, March 22, Gatto denied the allegations made by both women in a statement to Page Six. “I have used poor judgment and as a result have violated the trust of the people I love most. But anyone who knows me at all knows full well that I wouldn’t assault anyone,” he told the outlet.

“Working on myself is an ongoing process,” Gatto continued, “and I am now going to take some time away from the public eye to focus my energies where I need to.”

The second woman claimed to People in an interview published on Monday, March 24, that she and Gatto met for the first time when she was 15. She also claimed that the pair’s friendly relationship became something more after she turned 18.

The second woman said she was hired by Gatto before he joined Impractical Jokers, and she alleged that a former female employee warned her that he could be “flirty and handsy” and that he sometimes told “inappropriate jokes.” The woman further claimed that Gatto allegedly had inappropriately touched her, would ask her for back massages and questioned her about her sex life.
