Jana Kramer Takes a Pregnancy Test Live on Her Podcast After Being 13 Days Late

Jana Kramer’s latest podcast went off script when the actress decided to take a pregnancy test during the taping.

“I’m really glad that you guys are having your period,” Kramer, 41, said on the Monday, May 12, episode of iHeartRadio’s “Whine Down” podcast. “I am 13 days late. I don’t think I’m pregnant.”

When her cohosts, including close friend Kathryn Woodard, suggested she may want to take a pregnancy test to make sure she’s not expecting, the former One Tree Hill star was hesitant.

But after producer Hannah offered to order a pregnancy test to be delivered to the recording studio, Kramer agreed to participate.

Jana Kramer has been documenting her and Mike Caussin’s coparenting progress since their April 2021 split. The actress announced in an Instagram post that she and the former professional football player were calling it quits after six years of marriage. One week later, Kramer filed for divorce — which she said she never wanted for […]

“I’m not pregnant,” she said as the podcast continued recording after her test. “Nah, there’s no line there. We’re good. We’ll be fine. We’ll talk to you guys next week.”

In addition to sharing Jolie, 9, and Jace, 6, with ex-husband Mike Caussin, Kramer is also mom of 17-month-old Roman, with husband Allan Russell.

Before any pregnancy tests were done, Kramer explained why she didn’t think a pregnancy was in her future.

“Let me just back up for a second,” she shared. “So last period, I was early and I bled for 12 days. So now I’m 13 days late. I think because I bled for 12 days that, maybe, I’m either skipping a period or I have no idea. But there’s no way — well there’s always a way — that I could be pregnant.”

Without getting into TMI territory, Kramer acknowledged that she’s still having sex with her husband. At the same time, it’s just not as much as they “normally” have.

“We’ve been so busy. … I’m barely home,” she said. “It has to be because my period was that long, because I’ve never had that long of a period, so maybe I won’t this month.”

Back in December, Kramer and Russell stepped out for a kids-free date night at iHeartRadio’s Jingle Ball concert in Los Angeles.

When asked if she wanted to have another baby, the “I Got the Boy” singer didn’t rule out the possibility.

“I would love to, but I don’t think I could, given the losses that I’ve had in the past and just how hard this pregnancy was on my body this go around,” Kramer told Us, referring to her previous miscarriages. “I think we were blessed with a very healthy and happy baby. Though I would love to, and I’ve been trying to convince him, I just don’t know if my body can handle another one. If God has other plans, we’ll see, but for now, it’s a no.”
