Jason Kelce Reveals His Goal Weight After Losing 25 Pounds: ‘We’ll See Where It Goes’ (Exclusive)

Jason Kelce is embracing his post-NFL body.

“I was 295 [pounds] when I played,” Jason, 37, told Us Weekly exclusively while attending Amazon’s 2025 Upfront event, alongside brother Travis Kelce, on Monday, May 12. “I’m about 270 1747174230, so 25 pounds.”

Jason told Us that he and former Philadelphia Eagles teammate Beau Allen are currently “in this weight loss body fat loss competition” at the moment.

“I don’t really want to get below 250,” he added. “So, I think somewhere between 250 and 265. We’ll see where it goes.”

Jason has been candid about his ongoing weight loss after retiring from the NFL in March 2024. Three months after announcing that his professional football career had come to an end, Jason got real about shedding some weight. (He played as a center on the Eagles from 2011 to 2023.)

“Right now, I’m about 277. I’m almost 20 pounds down right now,” Jason shared in a June 2024 interview with GQ. “It’s hard to imagine another nearly 20 pounds coming off, being honest with you. But my back already feels better. My knees already feel better. So another 20 pounds hopefully will make that much more adept at playing with my children.”

Jason Kelce decided to slim down after announcing his NFL retirement in March 2024. “Right now, I’m about 277. During the same interview, Jason clarified that he would never want to get “too small” in retirement.

“I think a lot of guys, especially offensive linemen, they lose too much weight, and then they look like bobbleheads because their neck gets so small, but their head stays the same size,” he told the publication. “I’ll still be big and be happy with the way I look without having a six-pack. But I’ll still be able to have that stature a little bit.”

Fans took notice of the weight loss earlier this month when Jason experienced a small wardrobe malfunction during the 2025 Truist Championship pro-am. He was struggling while attempting to put on a polo at the Philadelphia Cricket Club’s Wissahickon Course on May 7.

A video posted on social media by the PGA Tour showed Jason poking fun at the snafu.

“Good start to the day. Classy establishment,” he joked while struggling to dress himself. Shortly after putting on the shirt, he noticed that it was “backwards.” Someone in the clip noted that Jason “lost a little weight.” Jason admitted, “I’m trying,” while replying.

Jason Kelce is still staying fit after leaving the NFL — and he’s made a noticeable transformation. During the Wednesday, March 26, episode of the “New Heights” podcast, the former Philadelphia Eagles center shared the results of a recent DXA scan, which can be used to measure body composition. “[My friend] Beau Allen reached out […]

Jason previously revealed that his wife, Kylie Kelce, had “implemented” a new fitness regime in his life.

“She said I have to work out a minimum of three days a week, otherwise she doesn’t want to deal with me,” Jason said on the “Green Light With Chris Long” podcast in July 2024. “When I’ve worked out, I am in a great mood; I interact well at home with my kids and everybody — I just am a better person.”
