Jason Momoa's favorite tattoo is a tribute to his two kids.
The actor, whose new movie Wrecking Crew is now playing in theaters, spoke with Dave Bautista for a segment with PEOPLE and was asked which of his tattoos is his favorite. Momoa, who shares his two kids Lola, 18, and Nakoa-Wolf, 16, with ex-wife Lisa Bonet, said one bit of ink in particular stands out to him.
"I would have to say my children, the first time they wrote their name, I put it on my heart," Momoa shares. "So it's like the first time they ever wrote their names. My first was the Hawaiian one I really love, but I'm like, my babies' first time they wrote, I put it on my heart. That's probably my favorite."

This past August, Momoa shared that his son Nakoa-Wolf was joining him in his upcoming movie Dune: Part Three and said that his son's performance moved him to tears.
Momoa spoke to his experience watching his teenage son, who goes by Wolf, audition for and win a role in the third Dune movie while appearing on an episode of Jason Bateman, Will Arnett and Sean Hayes' SmartLess podcast.
"I'm doing f—— Dune with my son right now," Momoa marveled during the podcast, after describing the entire process that led to Nakoa-Wolf's casting in the franchise's next entry. "The premiere of Chief of War, we flew to Hawaii, we did the premiere I think [July 18th,] we got on a plane that night. We landed on the 19th. My daughter's 18th was the 20th. We flew out the 21st. We landed in Budapest on the 22nd. He went to work on the 23rd."
"His first goddamn scene, I'm sitting there, s——g my pants. He's with Zendaya. He's in it," Momoa said of watching Nakoa-Wolf get to work. And I'm like 'My baby, 16 years old.' And he just killed it. I'm just crying. I was a f—–g wreck. I was so proud of him."

Earlier that summer, Momoa shared that his son had gotten the part in Dune: Part 3 all on his own while speaking with Extra.
“A rude awakening is what he’s in for,” Momoa joked to the outlet about his son's budding acting career. “He’s into the workforce for the first time. It’s going to be good. He did it on his own. I don’t want to help him, and he’s done it all on his own, and good for him.”
“You want your children to be better than you, and I really, actually believe he is,” he added. “I couldn’t do what he’s doing at his age. There’s no way I could sit in a room with Denis Villeneuve and hold my own. I was on Baywatch at 19. He’s 16 and holding s— down with Denis Villeneuve.”
The A Minecraft Movie star continued, “We raised him beautiful[ly]. We raised our children … being loved and being confident in themselves. That is what he is. He’s very confident.”
