Jax Taylor is getting candid about the real reason he decided to get multiple nose jobs.
The Valley star, 45, who has been open about his long-standing battle with addiction, addressed on the Wednesday, March 26, edition of his In the Mind of a Man with Jax Taylor podcast whether it had anything to do with his plastic surgery.
Taylor spoke about the topic while answering a fan-submitted question: “Did you have to get all those nose jobs because of your cocaine use?”

“No. I didn’t like the way my nose was. I really didn’t. I wanted a nose job years and years ago but I couldn’t afford it,” said Taylor.
Noting that he and his family all have “the same nose,” he said he took advantage of his “opportunity to get it done.”
While the first time he got it done because he “wanted to,” the second time was out of necessity after he “walked into a window” — a moment chronicled on Vanderpump Rules.
“As you guys know, it was filmed,” said Taylor. “We were going to Miami. I was in a hurry. I needed to buy a bathing suit and I ran into the store.”
“It was G Star on Melrose and they had a glass front and I went face first right into the window, smashed my nose, blew out a flip flop, passed out on the floor. It was really, really bad,” continued Taylor. “And then I had to get on a plane, bloody nose, fractured nose to go to Miami. And that’s why I needed the second nose job. So, it was not good.”
Earlier this month, Taylor made his cocaine addiction public on Bravo’s Hot Mic Podcast, declaring that he is an “addict.”
“I have substance issues — primarily with cocaine. It’s hard to say out loud. I’ve been dealing with this on and off since I was 23 and now I’m 45. There was times where I would stop doing it but then there were times where I’d go heavy on it,” he said.
Taylor said that sharing he has “an addiction [and] that I have a sickness that I have to work on the rest of my life is a really big deal for me. Obviously, it’s a huge weight lifted off my shoulders.”
The Bravo star noted that he doesn’t “necessarily think I have an alcohol problem, but the two go hand in hand. I can’t do cocaine without drinking. So I just gave up both.”
Taylor previously checked into an inpatient mental health facility in July 2024. Two months later, he revealed that he had been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and PTSD.
