Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez are getting closer to tying the knot!
According to a March 22 report from Puck News, the Amazon founder, 61 and the former news anchor, 55, have sent out their wedding invitations after being engaged for nearly two years.
The invitations, per Page Six, state the couple are set to get married this summer in Italy. Previous reports claimed the wedding might take place off the coast of Venice on their $500 million yacht named Koru in June.
PEOPLE has reached out to the couple’s representatives for comment.
PEOPLE previously confirmed that Bezos and Sánchez went public with their relationship in 2019, and Bezos proposed to Sánchez in May 2023. The pair were on vacation in the South of France when the billionaire popped the question, and Sánchez was photographed rocking her engagement ring as she spent time with her fiancé on the yacht soon after.
Rumors about the couple’s nuptials have been swirling since then. In a December 2024 post on X, he denied rumors that he would be marrying Sánchez in a lavish Christmastime ceremony.
At the time, Bezos also responded to a post on X that included information found in a recent The New York Post article, which cited a report from The Daily Mail, that claimed he and his fiancée were set to have a $600 million wedding in Aspen, Colo., on Dec. 28.
Pershing Square CEO Bill Ackman reposted the article with the caption, “This is not credible. Unless you are buying each of your guests a house, you can’t spend this much money.” Bezos replied, “Furthermore, this whole thing is completely false — none of this is happening.”

A source previously told PEOPLE that they were “on cloud nine — so happy and madly in love” after their engagement news.
“Her engagement ring is beyond stunning. And huge! She keeps playing with it and looking at it,” the insider added. “You can tell she loves it.”
In addition to the upcoming wedding, Sánchez is set to lead a star-studded all-female expedition into space. Sánchez stressed the importance of labeling them “explorers” — a title almost exclusively offered to men, she said at the time.
Sanchez also recently authored her first children’s book — The Fly Who Flew to Space — about a fly who is “bad at school and kind of wanders and gets stuck in a space capsule,” she shared.
Bezos shares four kids — three sons and one daughter — with ex-wife MacKenzie Scott, while Sánchez shares son Nikko with ex Tony Gonzalez and kids Evan and Ella with ex-husband Patrick Whitesell.
