Jenelle Evans and Kesha are recreating a viral moment from Evans’ time on Teen Mom 2.
Evans, 33, and the singer, 38, lip-synced along to audio from a still-talked about scene on the MTV show, in an Instagram reel shared on Friday, Aug. 8.
In the recreation, Evans wears Kesha merch, and holds a mannequin head of the singer, who she once called her “idol.”
“You don’t understand.. she’s my idol ❤️😭🎉💃 @kesha,” the reality star captioned the reel.
In the original video, Evans is seen wearing black-and-white feathers in her blonde hair, paired with thick black eyeliner. The teen mom, alongside her son Jace, had a meeting with her attorney regarding her probation after failing a drug test. At the time, she had expressed a desire to spend 16 days in jail rather than spend a year on probation.
However, when her attorney gave her the dates the probation officer proposed for her jail time, she revealed she had a very important date – a Kesha concert. “Well, you see the thing is, on the 9th, I got second-row seats to go see a concert. It’s Kesha tickets,” she explained.
When her attorney reiterated that serving time behind bars would put her probation behind her, she told him that he wouldn’t understand the importance of the show, since Kesha was her “idol.” She continued, “She’s, like, my idol and I’m never gonna be able to see her. I really can’t miss that concert.”
In the comments of the new reel, shared on Evans’ Instagram account, fans of the singer and the show were excited to see the nostalgic moment. “Best thing I’ve seen today! What a full circle moment. Iconic 👏🏻,” one Instagram user wrote in the comments.

Evans is now a mom to Jace Vahn, 16, who she shares with ex Andrew Lewis, Kaiser Orion Griffith, 11, who she shares with ex-boyfriend Nathan Griffith, and Ensley Jolie Eason, 8, who she shares with estranged husband David Eason.
Kesha is currently on her Tits Out Tour, with her next stop on Friday, Aug. 9. The tour will conclude in Dublin in March 2026. She released her album “.” (Period) on July 4.
