Jenna Dewan's daughter Everly is starting to understand why her parents are so cool.
The Rookie star, 45, appeared on a Monday, Mar. 9 episode of Live with Kelly and Mark and gave an update on her 12-year-old daughter. Dewan, who previously shared that Everly is into Irish dancing, now told co-hosts Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos that her daughter has been getting into other forms of dance.
"She loves Irish dance. We’ve never quitting. But she’s gotten into other things. She likes regular dance at school and cheerleading now is a big thing," said the proud mom of three. "She even performed with the [Los Angeles] Rams at the halftime [show]. She’s into all kinds of things."

When Ripa asked Dewan if her daughter understands who she is in the dance community, the star says her oldest is beginning to get it.
"Starting to a little bit. You know, people come up and now Step Up, to her…people [say] ‘We love the movie Step Up!’ " said Dewan, who famously met Everly's dad and her ex-husband Channing Tatum while the two starred in the movie together.
"When she was a kid, I tried to show her, and she goes, ‘Um, this is really boring. Can we watch something good?’ " joked Dewan. "Now I show it to her, and she’s like, ‘Oh, ok! Now I see what people talk to you about with dance. And it is because she’s into dance, so it’s brought up a lot. She thinks I’m cool still. I probably have what, six more months? 13 seems to be when they’re like, ‘You’re no longer cool.’”
Dewan shares Everly with Tatum. She is also mom to 5-year-old son Callum and 21-month-old daughter Rhiannon, whom she shares with fiancé Steve Kazee.

This past December, Dewan spoke with PEOPLE and shared that her daughter Everly has been involved with the star's wedding planning as her nuptials with Kazee grow closer.
"She has input in everything and she really has opinions when it comes to this. So she's very much involved in the process," Dewan told PEOPLE at the time.
The actress added that her daughter "wants to make sure it's fun."
"It's like, 'Let's make sure that the party is fun, Mom.' That's important," Dewan shared. "And also the actual ceremonial process, she has a lot of opinions, which is great."
Although Dewan has yet to look at wedding dresses, the star said she knows what "vibe" she wants. She is also confident that Everly will be honest with her about whether or not she likes the gown.
"She's very opinionated. Yes. She's very sweet about it, but she'll tell me if she doesn't like it," Dewan said. "She'll also really tell me if she did like it."
