Hypnotherapist Jim Curtis is feeling the love after his getaway with Jennifer Aniston.
In his newsletter on July 14, Curtis reflected on the journey — including the difficult times — that brought him to experience the “magic” he has found today.
“I am back from vacation and what an experience!” he shared in the newsletter, per Page Six. “When I was sick, sad, stuck and in pain, I never thought I would have the abundance, joy and love I now experience on a daily basis.”
“I just took one step, made one decision and the next followed — now I look back and realize, oh!” he continued. “That course, that life change, that pain, resulted in this magic.”
The author and life coach, who specializes in hypnotherapy, told his followers that “the same life that brings struggle also brings opportunity.”
Without sharing details of his trip with Aniston, he ended with a hopeful message, writing: “The possibility of something better — more aligned, more free, more meaningful — is always here.”
Curtis’ message comes after he sparked romance rumors with The Morning Show star.
The pair were spotted getting close while on a yacht in Mallorca on July 10 in photos obtained by PEOPLE. They were joined by Aniston’s friends including Jason Bateman, his wife Amanda Anka and Amy Schumer.
In one snapshot, the hypnotherapist appeared to rub the Friends alum’ shoulders while her pals sat nearby on the ship’s deck. In another picture, Aniston, 56, is close to grabbing his hand.
The pair also seemingly embraced, and possibly shared a kiss, while onboard the boat, as their friends relaxed nearby.
Three days later, multiple sources confirmed to PEOPLE that the pair are dating.
“[They are] casually dating and having fun,” one insider said, while another source added, “They’ve been seeing each other for a few months now. They were introduced by a friend and started out as friends.”
The second insider added that Aniston “read his book and was familiar with his work. She’s really into self-help and wellness. They are dating, but it’s still casual.”
The insider explained, “She’s been happy on her own, but she’s also open to sharing her life with someone. As long as it feels right. Jen’s in a very good place right now — grounded, fulfilled and very happy.”
Curtis is “very different from anyone she’s dated before,” the source added.

Aniston — who was previously married to Brad Pitt from 2000 to 2005, and to Justin Theroux from 2015 to 2018 — and Curtis follow each other on Instagram, where the latter has written in his bio, “My mission is to help you heal and thrive by upgrading your I AM.”
In May, the actress included Shift, a book co-written by Curtis and Sara Hadir, in a social media post that featured a carousel of recent photos.
