Jennifer Lopez Rocks Skin-Tight Bodysuit as She Shows ‘Gratitude’ for Her ‘Body’ and Loved Ones

Jennifer Lopez is expressing her gratitude!

The actress and singer, 55, took to Instagram on Tuesday, April 8, to show her gratitude for her body and her loved ones.

“Gratitude check-in ✨ 1. My body — working hard but still better than ever,” Lopez captioned a sultry photo of herself wearing a skin-tight black bodysuit and posing in a mirror.

“2. The people who keep my heart full. 3. The little moments that become the best memories,” Lopez continued her gratitude check-in.

Lopez’s Instagram post comes just a week after she stepped out with her lookalike 17-year-old child, Emme, at the Broadway opening night premiere of Good Night, and Good Luck.

The duo stepped out in matching all-black looks on Thursday, April 3, for the star-studded event in New York City. Lopez wrapped her arm around Emme as they arrived at the Winter Garden theater. They looked nearly identical in one photo as both Lopez and Emme opened their mouths and had their heads turned the same way, seemingly greeting someone they knew from afar.

Lopez wore a body-hugging V-neck gown paired with an oversized cape. Emme, meanwhile, opted for a black suit and plaid tie, accessorizing with a Vivienne Westwood necklace. (Lopez shares Emme and Max Muñiz with ex-husband Marc Anthony.)

The Atlas actress also recently attended the funeral for her longtime hairstylist, Jesus Guerrero, who died in February at the age of 34.

“Kylie and J.Lo lovingly showed up to pay their respects,” the late hairstylist’s sister, Gris Guerrero, exclusively told Us Weekly on March 31. “Kylie was with us when we laid him to rest for the burial.”

Lopez stayed for the funeral service that took place in Houston, Texas, on Sunday, March 30, more than one month after Jesus’ sudden death.

“We wanted to honor him and all the lives he touched because he touched so many lives,” Gris told Us. “He came from immigrant parents with little to nothing, and he chased his dreams, and he made friends along the way, and he kept them along the way.”

Lopez previously paid tribute to Guerrero via Instagram, writing, “It’s no surprise your mother gave you the name Jesus. You were gentle and kind and loving, quiet and unassuming, but so powerful, and your presence was felt the minute you walked into any room.”

She added, “You never demanded the spotlight. You never needed to make a sound to be recognized, your heart and your talent did that as effortlessly as your artistry did.”
