Glam comes naturally to Jennifer Lopez — and her 2025 Grammys look is just the latest example.
On Sunday, February 2, the “Let’s Get Loud” singer attended the 67th Annual Grammy Awards to present the Best Latin Pop Album award, glittering on stage in a sheer sequin skirt and cropped black turtleneck. Her makeup look was eye-catching, too — specifically, her unbelievably long lashes.
To amp up the volume, makeup artist and Chanel partner Mary Phillips used the Chanel Le Volume de Chanel Mascara in Noir to help achieve “lifted, winged eyes.” Coincidentally, it’s the same mascara Jennifer Aniston wore on her enviously long-looking lashes at the 2024 Emmy Awards.
Chanel Le Volume de Chanel Mascara
A single tube of the Chanel Le Volume de Chanel Mascara costs $40, but if MUAs keep using it for the biggest events in Hollywood, we assume it performs pretty well. Plus, with just one glance of J.Lo’s side profile, we’d say it was a mission well accomplished — you could see those lashes for miles! To achieve the look, Phillips used a Tweezerman eyelash curler before coating lashes with the inky black mascara.
Le Volume de Chanel is formulated with natural waxes and film-forming agents to build volume and acacia gum to set and hold the lash’s curl. Translation: Soft, flexible hold that doesn’t flake.
The brush is also important to consider since it determines how the product will apply. Fortunately, this mascara has bristles with multiple lengths which create “an extreme eye-opening effect,” according to the website.
And all together? It’s “absolute perfection,” wrote one shopper. “Beautiful color saturation, perfect lash separation, and very full lashes!”
The mascara also makes a great Valentine’s Day gift, and when you order from Chanel’s website, they’ll wrap it up in pretty designer packaging. You can also include a card with a sweet message and choose up to two free samples.
