Jesse Palmer is giving dads everywhere some pointers on the “cold one” they really need this Father’s Day.
The Bachelor host and girl dad, 46, is teaming up with Kellogg’s for the company’s latest spin on a phrase that could’ve always used a little more cereal.
On Saturday, June 14, Palmer appeared in a new campaign to promote Pour Dad A Cold One — a freezable cereal bowl kit featuring a chilled spoon, bowl koozie and coaster. Of course, that’s not to be confused with a “cold one” — the popular phrase meaning a refrigerated beer — as Kellogg’s and Palmer are instead hoping to remind consumers of the real cold one they’ll deserve this holiday weekend.
“Dads today are showing up in new ways — we’re multitasking, co-parenting, and still trying to find time for ourselves,” Palmer said in a statement.
“That’s what I love about this campaign with Kellogg’s. Pour Dad a Cold Bowl flips the beer cliché and reminds us that sometimes the perfect ‘dad time’ is just you, a cold bowl and five minutes of peace.”

Palmer certainly gets his brief dad down time in the latest advertisement from the company, in which he’s shown exiting his daughter’s bedroom, detailing his experiencing having “consoled a lot of criers” and heads straight to the refrigerator.
He then can be seen popping open his freezer, pouring a cold bowl of Frosted Flakes and heading back to his fatherly duties.
“We wanted to tap into a moment that’s both playful and meaningful,” said Kellogg’s told PEOPLE in a statement. “With ‘Pour Dad a Cold Bowl,’ we’re celebrating the everyday joy of sharing cereal in a new, tongue-in-cheek way—because sometimes the best memories are made from the simplest acts of connection.”
The former NFL player shares his only daughter, Ella, with his wife Emely Fardo. The pair welcomed Ella in January 2024, less than four years after they wed at a private ceremony. Speaking with PEOPLE in April at at Disney Entertainment Television’s Get Real Event, Palmer was asked if his baby daughter was set to make an appearance on the beach as he prepared to film the newest season of Bachelor in Paradise.
“She needs to be on the beach. I’m going to get her down there and give her a little taste early, just keep her away from me,” Palmer said. “I’m just going to drop her off with the Golden [Bachelor] cast and let them babysit. I think that’s the plan.”
“I trust the Golden cast better than I trust our normal cast, for sure,” he added, jokingly.
Last June, Palmer shared a tribute to both Ella and Fardo as he celebrated his first Father’s Day as a girl dad, alongside an image of himself with the two ladies in his life.
“I’m so lucky to have two angels in my life,” he wrote at the time. “Thank you Emely and Ella for making being a Dad the most rewarding experience I’ve ever felt and known. Happy Father’s Day to all the Dads out there! 👨🏻”
