Jessica Simpson fit right in at her latest job.

The singer, 44, recently opened up to Entertainment Tonight about her guest appearance on the new series All’s Fair. Calling her experience filming the legal drama “incredible,” Simpson teased that her character required a lot of work and time to bring to life.

“I had a blast,” she explained. “I did eight hours of prosthetics, so it was very intense. but props to the prosthetics team. I love you guys so much. They said I had the most patience of anyone they’ve ever worked with, so, I mean, that’s a good compliment. I really embody someone that I am not, so I was definitely acting.”

Created by Ryan Murphy, All’s Fair follows Naomi Watts, Glenn Close and Niecy Nash-Betts as divorce attorneys who work at a women-led law firm owned and run by Kim Kardashian. When asked about what it was like to work with the SKIMS mogul, Simpson revealed she felt right at home.

“Kim, I mean, we just live down the street from each other,” she explained. “Our kids are best friends, so to be on set, it just felt kind of natural. It was fun to work together — we’ve never worked together.”

“She did all the lawyer talk, I did all the whining,” Simpson jokingly added.

Other cast members include Teyana Taylor and Sarah Paulson, and in addition to starring in the show, Kardashian, Watts, Nash-Betts, Paulson and Close are all executive producers. Kardashian’s mom, Kris Jenner, also serves as an executive producer.

The first teaser for the debut season, which is set to premiere in the fall, highlighted the firm’s “women representing women” objective as they began taking on female clients. In one scene, Close advised her colleagues to “get mad, get hot, get revenge” — and they seemed poised to do just that.

At the same time, the preview offered a peek into the dark side behind the attorneys’ success and lavish lifestyles.

Per the official synopsis, All’s Fair follows a team of female lawyers who “leave a male-dominated firm to open their own powerhouse practice.”

“Fierce, brilliant, and emotionally complicated, they navigate high-stakes breakups, scandalous secrets, and shifting allegiances—both in the courtroom and within their own ranks,” the synopsis continues. “In a world where money talks and love is a battleground, these women don’t just play the game—they change it.”
