Jessie J is providing an update on her health.
The “Bang Bang” singer shared that she was diagnosed with breast cancer over two months ago and has been “in and out of tests” this year.
“I was diagnosed with early breast cancer,” Jessie said in an Instagram video June 3. “Cancer sucks in any form, but I’m holding on to the word ‘early.'”
The 37-year-old said she will undergo surgery after performing at the Summertime Ball 2025 concert in London on June 15.
“It’s a very dramatic way to get a boob job,” she explained. “I am going to disappear for a bit after Summertime Ball to have my surgery, and I will come back with massive tits and more music.”
While Jessie—who shares son Sky, 2, with basketball player Chanan Safir Colman—noted that she hesitated to announce her diagnosis publicly, she decided to be “open” for multiple reasons.
“One, because, selfishly, I do not talk about it enough,” she continued. “I’m not processing it because I’m working so hard. I also know how much sharing in the past has helped me with other people giving me their love and support and also their own stories. I’m an open book.”
