John Mulaney and Olivia Munn’s son stole the show during their wedding.
The comedian, 42, appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Monday, March 10, and shared details about his summer wedding to Munn, which included an appearance from their then-2-year-old son Malcolm. Mulaney explained that the toddler, who was still wearing diapers at the time, had a hilarious announcement to the crowd halfway through the event.
“He turned 3 in November,” Mulaney said of Malcolm. “Over the summer, he was a 2-year-old. He was at our wedding in a little tuxedo and shorts. He actually went to the bathroom in his diaper during [the wedding] and announced it mid-vows.”
“A very sweaty little 2-year-old in a tuxedo just went, ‘I’m pooping!’ ” recalled the dad of two.

Mulaney and Munn are parents to Malcolm and daughter Méi June, whom they welcomed in September 2024.
This past summer, Munn posted an adorable video on her Instagram of Malcolm and Mulaney sitting on the couch and fiddling their fingers in the same exact manner. Munn shared that the motion is a fidget of Mulaney’s that Malcolm has learned to imitate.
“It’s the same exact fidget. I can’t,” she wrote over the video. The proud mom added in her caption, “Malcolm’s been doing this since 10 months old but this is the first time I could capture it.”
The proud dad left a cute comment on the video, noting that his son even switches from two hands to one just as his father does.
“He even breaks from the double hand twitch to the single,” he wrote. “A classic move.”
In November, Mulaney noted that his son Malcolm has settled well into his big brother duties after the family welcomed little Méi June.
“He’s doing good. He likes it. It’s interesting, with our daughter, she’s two months old so she doesn’t do much,” the comedian told PEOPLE.
“And I think the first couple of weeks he thought she might be a toy because she’d squeak and he’d be like, ‘How do I make it do that again?’ Now I think he gets it, that this is a little girl, yeah,” added Mulaney.
