Kailyn Lowry and 'The Conditions of Will' by Jessa Hastings
I’m a big mood reader, which basically means my TBR is more of a decorative art piece than an actual plan. This summer, I basically ghosted my thrillers (we were getting too predictable) and swiped right on books I’d normally walk past. No clue where this fling with unexpected genres will take me but I’m loving it so far.
Here are 10 books to read during the last few weeks of summer, — especially if you haven't completed your summer reading list yet.

'The Conditions of Will' by Jessa Hastings
5/5 stars. It has a thought-provoking plot. This one has all the family secrets, betrayal and a sibling who acts as a human lie detector. I ate this one up.

I’m a rookie in the rom-com reader space but this one is everything your friends tell you it is. Workplace drama, with banter — so funny and the whole fake marriage + close proximity thing. You’ll love this one!

I ate up this 2025 release. Only 94 pages, so add it to the top of your list! No stairs to get out of your apartment? No problem. Forced-proximity under those circumstances could be life-changing. So so good!

'Wild Dark Shore' by Charlotte McConaghy

'Wild Dark Shore' by Charlotte McConaghy
I ugly cried at this one. Saving humanity’s seeds while nature waves goodbye … because nothing screams family bonding like hope, despair and seeds you’ll probably never use. I would normally never read something like this but I took the risk and fell in love with every, single character.
