“My life is my life, and I can do what I want with it,” he added. “And for people to take things from my life, like personal stuff, is not okay. If I want to share it, I should share that on my own terms.”
As part of embracing his true self, Elliott also decided to start going by his middle name upon moving to a new high school—which at first, caught his mom by surprise.
“For you, everyone’s always called you Isaac,” Kailyn—also mom to Lincoln, 11, with ex-husband Javi Marroquin; Lux, 8, and Creed, 4, with ex Chris Lopez; and Rio, 2, as well as 19-month old twins Verse and Valley with Elijah Scott—said to her eldest. “I think that that is cool for you to recognize. It’s cool for you to sort of decide what makes you comfortable.”
And along with showing her support for his recent name change, the reality star expressed her unwavering support of her son’s sexuality.
