Kansas City Chiefs players guessed which teammate spends the most cash on their game day outfits — and you might be surprised.
Many fans might assume that the majority votes were for Travis Kelce, who is always in head-to-toe luxury looks while arriving at games. Perhaps Patrick Mahomes, who has no shortage of Prada in his closet, racked up the most votes. However, some players thought otherwise.
Joshua Williams, for his part, told KC Sports Network on Tuesday, February 4, that Hollywood Brown is probably shelling out the most for his game day looks.
“I don’t wanna be coppin’ anybody’s pockets,” he said. “[But] I think Hollywood Brown.” Williams, 25, explained that the wide receiver is “pretty dapper all the time.”
Brown, 27, recently looked as cool as ever in a mesh top, featuring Cupid flying on the front while rolling up to the AFC Conference Championship game on Sunday, January 26. He teamed the jersey with gray painted pants with knee-high slits, plus diamond chain jewelry.
Hunter Nourzad, meanwhile, wagered that JuJu Smith-Schuster is dropping the most coin on clothes. “He has some awesome outfits,” Nourzad, 24, added.
James Winchester had a different player in mind, estimating that Charles Omenihu’s ensembles are the most expensive. “He’s got some leather getup with the shoes and everything,” Winchester, 35, said.
Omenihu’s game day wardrobe includes everything, from animal-print pants and leather jackets to metallic maroon tunics and full Amiri looks pulled right off the runway.
When Omenihu was posed with the question, he smiled and replied: “Probably me, to be honest.” Meanwhile, Jayden Hicks guessed that Jaylen Watson was investing the most in his game day style.
Last but far from least, Chris Oladokun was the only one who guessed Chiefs’ tight end and Taylor Swift’s BF, Kelce, 34. “Oh, easy. Travis, for sure,” Oladokun, 27, quipped. “No brainer.”
We have to agree: Kelce never disappoints when it comes to the trends he sports in the tunnel, including Louis Vuitton tracksuits, Versace silk shirts and an endless lineup of monogrammed designer bags for the win.
