Kanye West is clearing his name.
Hours after Bhad Bhabie sampled Kanye’s song in an Alabama Barker diss track “Ms. Whitman,” the rapper made it clear where he stands.
“I’m not in the middle of none of this AI beef,” the 47-year-old said on his Instagram Stories Feb. 25, “people throwing my voice on things, the whole ‘Carnival’ sample.”
To rewind, the months-long feud started when Bhad Bhabie—who gained popularity after her 2016 appearance on Dr. Phil went viral—accused Alabama of stealing her boyfriend Le Vaughn, with whom she shares 11-month-old daughter Kali Love, as well as sleeping with both Tyga and Soulja Boy in her January diss track “Over Cooked.”
And shortly after, Alabama—daughter of Travis Barker and ex Shanna Moakler and stepdaughter to Kourtney Kardashian—fired back with a merciless diss track of her own called “Cry Bhabie.”
But despite the history of public animosity between the two, Kanye—who shares kids North, 11, Saint, 9, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 5, with ex Kim Kardashian—insisted that he was unaware any of this was happening. And after Bhad Bhabie went as far as including a lookalike of the Blink-182 drummer in her music video, the “I Wonder” rapper spoke to Travis directly about the misunderstanding.
