Scott Disick was one of many surprise cameos on Running Point — but how did the Netflix show get the reality television star to make an appearance?
“It was just fun,” Kate Hudson, who stars in the Netflix film, which premiered on Thursday, February 27, told People in an interview. “We were just, like, in that moment, who would be the person that would be the most random person to witness [Isla] get hit in L.A.? It was Scott.”
Disick, 41, made a blink-and-you-miss-it cameo after Hudson’s character Isla Gordon was punched in the face while dealing with the demanding mom of one of her star players. Disick watched the argument unfold before striking up a conversation with Isla.
“Are you OK?” he asked. “It was crazy when that lady punched you in the face.”

Hudson, 45, noted there was “a lot of stuff happening” amid Disick’s appearance. “I want it to be longer,” she said about how Running Point could have done “a whole thing” with the reality star. “I’m glad he came through. It was so fun.”

Disick finally got to be involved in a Netflix project after recently revealing on The Kardashians that he missed a chance to star in an Adam Sandler movie. Disick told Khloé Kardashian in a February episode that he was offered a role but his now-former assistant accidentally declined the offer.
“Big word on the street — you’re a f–ing actor?!” Kardashian, 40, asked, to which Disick replied, “That’s what they’re telling me.”
Disick claimed Netflix kept “pulling” him into projects, adding, “They offered me a movie in the beginning of the year, but my assistant — she was new at the time — she told them I couldn’t make it. Didn’t ask me. So I passed on an Adam Sandler movie.”
