Kate Middleton Enjoys Rare Shopping Trip Amid Remission From Cancer Treatment

Kate Middleton is indulging some retail therapy after completing her chemotherapy.

One week after announcing that she’s in remission from her cancer treatments, the Princess of Wales went took a casual jaunt to Finlay Glasses in London’s Notting Hill neighborhood.

For the Jan. 21 outing, Kate sported a long wool coat with cozy-looking gray trousers and black boots. She completed her look with KiKi McDonough earrings, a taupe Smythson crossbody bag and a plaid Aquascutum scarf that she previously rocked in 2011 during a royal tour in Canada.

After chatting with staffers at the glasses store, the 43-year-old—who shares kids Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6, with husband Prince William—was seen leaving with a branded tote bag in tow.

Kate’s shopping trip comes amid her journey to “adjust to a new normal” after undergoing preventative chemotherapy for her 2024 cancer diagnosis.

“It is a relief to now be in remission and I remain focused on recovery,” she wrote in a message on X, formerly Twitter, Jan. 14. “I am however looking forward to a fulfilling year ahead. There is much to look forward to.”
