Princess Kate Middleton is on the hunt for the next perfect school for Prince George.
The Princess of Wales and her husband, Prince William, have been spotted touring various establishments, including their alma maters, Hello! reported on Tuesday, January 21.
According to the publication, Kate, 43, has toured her old school, Marlborough College, in Wiltshire as well as two schools in North London.
William’s former private school, Eton College, is also reportedly under consideration. The school educates boys aged 13 to 18, with the option to board across its 25 houses on the Windsor campus.
Prince George, 11, currently attends a coed school with his younger siblings Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6.
He participated in a set of entrance exams, known as the ISEB Common Pre-tests, at the end of 2023. The four tests are aimed to showcase his knowledge in mathematics, English (reading, comprehension and grammar), verbal reasoning and non-verbal reasoning.
When he’s not focusing on school or homework, George has developed quite a few hobbies over the years. One activity requires a whole lot of water.
“George loves scuba diving,” William, 42, said during a visit to the Birtley Community Pool in October 2024, according to Hello!. “He’s 11 years old. We took him under thinking he would freak out. He absolutely loves it.”
William previously swam and played water polo while he attended Eton College and the University of St. Andrews. Kate, meanwhile, has previously shared that cold water swimming is one of her go-to fitness hobbies.
George has also shown an interest in soccer and also completed his first flying lesson.
“George loves his football,” Mike Tindall told The Telegraph in October 2024. “I’ve played numerous times in the garden with him. He’s passionate about Aston Villa, too. Wherever he is, he’ll sit down and watch that game.”
Extracurricular activities aside, George has two parents who make sure family time is a priority.
