- Kathy Griffin is revealing how much she shelled out for her third facelift

- The comedian has always been transparent about the work she’s had done, even when getting her lips tattooed in 2023
Kathy Griffin can admit her third facelift was pretty pricey.
During the Monday, Nov. 10 episode of the Good Guys podcast hosted by Josh Peck and Ben Soffer, the 65-year-old comedian came clean about how much she paid for her most recent cosmetic procedure.
“It was not cheap,” she began, adding, “You ready? 218,000 [dollars].”
“Do you know how many d— jokes I have to tell for $218,000?,” the Pulp Fiction actress continued. “I have to do at least two shows.”
Still, Griffin vowed never to pay the price tag that some of her peers might, telling Peck and Soffer, “I’m just such a money person. I can’t bring myself to do it.”
Peck and Griffin pointed out that some surgeons are charging millions of dollars for cosmetic procedures before the Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List alum revealed how she was able to get quality work for a six-figure price.
“What I love about my D-List life is, I went to Kris Jenner’s last guy. Not the million ponytail … where they pull your whole face up … that’s what Kris got. But I went to her last guy,” she said.
Instead of going to Dr. Steven Levine in New York City, who famously did Kris’s viral facelift, Griffin has previously credited Beverly Hills-based celebrity plastic surgeon Dr. Ben Talei with performing her third procedure.
In August, the comedian referred to herself as “vain” for having work done on her face for a third time.
“It’s my third. I know that’s so vain! I’m so vain for no reason. No one has ever gone to a Kathy Griffin show to see her beautiful, youthful face,” she said in the Aug. 5 episode of her Talk Your Head Off podcast.
She also openly listed which procedures she had done, including an “upper eye job” (a blepharoplasty), that featured a “cat eye stitch” to give her eyes a lift at the corners.
She also played coy about possible work on her chin, stating, “There’s a stitch in my chin, which you’re probably not going to see unless you’re under me, but not in that way.”

Most of her procedures have been documented, such as her August 2023 trip to her aesthetician to get her lips tattooed for a service called “blushing.”
“I’m going to get my eyebrows microbladed more because I didn’t do enough the last time, and I’m getting my lips tattooed, but they call it blushing. We’ll see,” she said in a YouTube video at the time.
