The Jonas Brothers gave fans another surprise at their Dallas show!
On Sunday, Aug. 31, Kelsea Ballerini joined the pop trio at the JONAS20: Greetings From Your Hometown Tour, which stopped at the Dos Equis Pavilion and was livestreamed on Samsung TV Plus.
“We have lived a lot of life already with this next performer. She’s really part of the family,” Nick Jonas told the crowd, per fan-captured TikTok footage.
He continued: “A couple of years ago we had the wonderful pleasure of bringing her on tour, and throughout the years, we’ve had the fortune of doing several performances. But tonight, she was gracious enough to come out and be here for this incredible Dallas crowd.”
“Please welcome to the stage our friend, your friend, Kelsea Ballerini,” said Jonas, 32.
Per Billboard, Ballerini, 31, performed a rendition of her 2015 ballad “Peter Pan” with the brothers before she sang their 2009 song “Fly With Me” with them.
Following the performance, the “Baggage” singer shared her excitement about the performance on TikTok.
“definitely don’t tell 13 year old me i was barefoot bee bopping on stage singing fly with me with the @Jonas Brothers,” Ballerini captioned the post, which featured a video of her singing “Fly with Me” with the “Sucker” group.
The Jonas Brothers had more surprises in store for fans who attended the show.
Lauren Jauregui, Normani, Dinah Jane and Ally Brooke of Fifth Harmony reunited during the show on Aug. 31 for their first performance since the girl group went on hiatus in 2018.
During the concert, the pop group performed their 2015 track “Worth It” and 2017 hit “Work From Home.”
The Jonas Brothers also invited Ryan Cabrera out for a performance of his 2004 hit “On The Way Down” and invited Plain White T’s out to play their 2005 hit “Hey There Delilah.”
Ballerini recently opened up to PEOPLE about her run of shows in Australia later this year and revealed she was looking forward to some downtime.
“I wish I could sit here and tell you I had a bunch up my sleeve. I really don’t for the first time in a long time, and I’m learning to be comfortable with that,” she said.
