Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson are celebrating a special milestone for their 7-year-old daughter, True.
In an Instagram post on Friday, Sept. 5, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians alum, 41, shared that True, whom she shares with NBA star Thompson, 34, had her first day of second grade.
Photos showed that the doting parents had set up a giant decorative pink book in Kardashian’s home that read, “First Day of 2nd Grade,” along with dozens of balloons.
“Just like that, my baby is off to 2nd grade,” Kardashian wrote in the caption of her post. “Time is flying faster than I ever imagined — it feels like I blinked and my baby grew up.”
In the photos, True could be seen wearing her school uniform and posing with her mom. Other shots captured the second grader posing with her dad, as well as with her younger brother, 3-year-old Tatum.
“I’m so proud of the respectful, sweet, loving, smart, beautiful girl she is,” Kardashian wrote. “But man, this all happens so quickly. In a blink 🥺.”
“Wishing my sweet True endless joy and asking God to watch over her always and forever,” Kardashian added. “My two angels make me melt! Their smiles and bond are everything to me! 💕✨.”
Kardashian and Thompson welcomed True in April 2018, and became parents again in July 2022 when their son Tatum was born via surrogate. The reality star ultimately split from Thompson in June 2021, but has said that they maintain a “great friendship” as co-parents.

Both Kardashian and Thompson are proud parents on social media, sharing posts to celebrate all of their kids’ life milestones.
In April, Thompson shared a heartfelt message on Instagram for True on her seventh birthday.
In the carousel, the athlete featured several photos of his daughter with her siblings, including a shot of Thompson with three of his four children at a birthday party and another of True holding Tatum’s hand.
“Happy birthday Twinny!! My TuTu is 7 today!!” he wrote in his caption. “I can’t believe how time flies. Momma you are literally the light that shines bright In my life. When I see you I see mommy aka GiGi.”
“True you bring your brothers, mommy and all your cousins soo much happiness you literally spark any room you walk in. You have the best soul ever I’m soo blessed to have as my daughter,” he continued. “Keep being amazing each and every day. Daddy always got you. I can’t wait to play tag and jump on the trampoline. I love you Twin 🤞🏾❤️.”
In August, the NBA player also posted an adorable video on his Instagram that showed him getting playful with his “twinny.”
True could be seen wearing Lilo & Stitch shorts and a tank top as she danced around while her dad mimicked her moves behind her.
“Just out here dancing through the weekend with my twinny 👧🏽💗🤞🏾,” Thompson wrote.
