- Kid Cudi testified Thursday in Sean “Diddy” Combs’ federal trial
- He said his Porsche was destroyed by a Molotov cocktail in 2012
- Prosecutors allege Diddy ordered the attack out of jealousy
Testifying at Sean “Diddy” Combs’ trial, Kid Cudi recalled his reaction when a Molotov cocktail was used to blow up his car — which prosecutors allege was at the behest of the Bad Boy Records founder.
“What the f—,” the rapper remembered thinking.
Kid Cudi, whose real name is Scott Mescudi, was called as a witness during the ninth day of Combs’ federal sex trafficking trial.
Mescudi testified that he dated Combs’ on-again, off-again girlfriend Casandra “Cassie” Ventura in 2011.
In January 2012, Mescudi said he got a call from his dog-sitter that his car was on fire.
“She told me my car was on fire,” Mescudi recalled. “I immediately went to my house.”
Mescudi said that while on his way home, his friend texted a picture of the damaged Porsche convertible.
When Mescudi arrived, the car was beyond repair.
“The top of my Porsche was cut open and that’s where they inserted the Molotov cocktail,” he said.
The bottle had burned up by the time Mescudi got there.
Mescudi did not mention Diddy in connection with the car explosion.

Jurors were shown six photos showing the aftermath: a slashed convertible top, melted red seats, and the charred remains of the Molotov.
Ventura previously testified that Combs became jealous and allegedly threatened to have Mescudi’s car blown up.
Combs is charged with sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution, and has entered a not guilty plea.
