Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann’s summer plans for their children are ironed out, amid their divorce.
According to a new report from TMZ, the couple’s youngest daughter, Kaia Rose, 11, is spending the first three weeks of summer with her paternal grandparents in Montana without either of her parents.
The tween will have access to a phone and can have one 15-minute call with her parents a day. She’s also allowed to stay longer than the three weeks or come home earlier, if she decides that is what she wants to do.
As for the three boys, the former couple shares, they will be staying home in Atlanta, going back and forth between their parents’ houses.

The former Real Housewives of Atlanta star is a mom to six. Zolciak met her now estranged husband while she was starring in the Bravo series. At the time, she was a single mom to daughters Brielle, 27, and Ariana, 23.
The reality star and NFL linebacker got married on Nov. 11, 2011, and welcomed four children together: Kroy Jr., 14, Kash, 12, and twins Kaia and Kane, 11. Kroy filed to adopt Kim’s two daughters shortly after they wed. In July 2013, Brielle and Ariana legally changed their last names when the adoption became final.
In April 2023, after about 12 years of marriage, Kim and Kroy filed for divorce. However, in July 2023, a source told PEOPLE that the couple called off the divorce and are “trying to make it work for the kids.” In August 2023, Kroy filed for divorce for a second time.
After filing for divorce from his wife of nearly 12 years, the former NFL player filed for sole legal and physical custody, according to documents obtained by PEOPLE. TMZ was first to report the news.
Documents previously obtained by TMZ indicated that Zolciak is pursuing primary physical custody and joint legal custody of her four children with Biermann.
“She’s not cutting the kids off from Kroy,” a source close to the mom of six told PEOPLE. “She wants him to be involved as their dad.”

Above all, Zolciak and Biermann want what’s best for their children. On Sunday, March 30, the proud mom posted a picture of her two eldest sons, KJ, 13, and Kash, 12, on Instagram as she posed with them at an event. In the photo, Kim stood in the middle of her boys as they towered over her.
She wrote in the caption that she “couldn’t be more proud of my boys,” before sharing a little update on what they’ve been up to lately.
“Football is their true passion,” she continued. “They give it their all!! Early morning workouts, after school work outs, boats load of food, commitment, drive and a true love for the game. Makes me so happy.”
In a nod to just how much her sons have grown, she added: “KJ is 13 and 6’1 🤩 Kash is 12 and 6’1🤩 (I’m 5’7 1/2 😜) 🙈.”
