Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker’s Son Rocky Is a Little Musician

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker might have a little rock star on their hands.

The Lemme founder shared a series of photos from her family’s recent trip to Disneyland via Instagram Sunday, April 6. One photo showed the small hands of her youngest son, Rocky, as he pressed the keys on a Yamaha piano.

Barker, 49, is well known as the drummer for the pop-rock group Blink-182, and he and Kardashian, 45, showed off their combined musical skills in 2021 when Barker’s daughter Alabama shared a video of the pair singing “Heart and Soul” from the movie Big.

The family celebrated Rocky’s first birthday in November 2024. Along with Rocky, Kourtney and Travis’ blended family includes Mason, 15, Penelope, 12, and Reign, 10, whom she shares with ex Scott Disick; as well as Travis’ children with ex-wife Shanna Moakler, Alabama, 19,  and Landon, 21, as well as Atiana De La Hoya, 26, who is Travis’ stepdaughter by Moakler.

Kardashian and Barker married in May 2022 and welcomed Rocky the following year. They shared their emotional conception journey with followers on social media in May 2024, when Kardashian revealed they’d had five “failed IVF cycles” and three egg retrievals before Rocky was conceived naturally.

Kardashian wrote in an Instagram Story, “I stopped after a year of trying (5 failed IVF cycles, 3 retrievals) my body relaxed and I believed in God’s plan for my life.”

“Lots of prayers for whatever was meant to be for us,” she continued. “Also lots of optimizing my health. I know how hard it is to feel like you’re not trying, but believing in God’s plan and saying your prayers is so powerful. All the best!”

Kardashian’s pregnancy with her youngest wasn’t without its complications. “I will be forever grateful to my incredible doctors for saving our baby’s life. I am eternally grateful to my husband who rushed to my side from tour to be with me in the hospital and take care of me afterwards, my rock,” she wrote via Instagram in September 2023.

“And to my mom, thank you for holding my hand through this,” she continued. “As someone who has had three really easy pregnancies in the past, I wasn’t prepared for the fear of rushing into urgent fetal surgery.”

News of Rocky’s arrival was shared by TMZ and People on November 4, 2023. One month before Rocky’s birth, Barker revealed during an interview for Complex’s “GOAT Talk” video series that the pair had decided to name their son Rocky Thirteen after the guitarist for the band Suicidal Tendencies.

He added that the first name could also be a nod to 1976’s Rocky, which he called “the greatest boxing movie of all time.”
