Kourtney Kardashian still teases Kris Jenner for buying their family knockoff Chanel watches for Christmas one year.
As Jenner, 69, decorated her house to celebrate her mom, M.J. Campbell’s 90th birthday, she FaceTimed Kardashian, 45, to show her the celebration during a Wednesday, March 19, episode of The Kardashians. (Kardashian was on tour with husband Travis Barker in New York and unable to make it to the party.)
Jenner shared that each star tote gift bag would contain a Beanie Baby stuffed animal and silk Chanel scarves, featuring floral details and the brand’s signature double “CC” logo.
“Remember when you got us the fake Chanel watches for Christmas?” Kardashian reminisced while laughing.
Jenner then also cracked up. “Listen, I’m just —,” she began before Kardashian interrupted her. “You said that they were stolen off of a truck.”
“I think they were!” Jenner said, in defense, as Kardashian joked about Kathie Lee Gifford telling her mom into thinking the watches were “hot off the truck.”
In a confessional, Kardashian further explained the situation. “Year one of [Keeping Up With the Kardashians] my mom gave us all these ‘Chanel’ watches for Christmas. They just slowly started chipping and the diamonds would fall out. We were like, ‘Mom, these watches, if these are real that’s crazy.’” (KUWTK premiered in 2007.)
Kardashian continued: “She was like, ‘I bought them from a truck! Hot off a truck.’”
Jenner also couldn’t help but laugh about the incident in a confessional, sharing she didn’t “remember” much about it.
“I don’t remember if they were real, if they were fake, if they were hot,” she said. “I don’t remember.” A producer then chimed in, joking that Jenner was “pleading the Fifth.”
“I am,” Jenner quipped.

The camera then cut back to Kardashian, who joked about her mom getting ripped off. “She was like, ‘I got a check for $1,000 for filming Keeping Up With the Kardashians. I’m gonna spend five times that on a hot watch.’”
