Kristin Cavallari is a busy mom!
“Travel sports aren’t for the week,” the reality star and podcast host wrote via her Instagram Stories on Friday, April 4, along with a photo featuring the busy mom of three and her son, Jaxon. “It’s my bedtime and we haven’t even started.”
Cavallari is definitely a hands-on mom. In a March 25 episode of her “Let’s Be Honest” podcast, she revealed that Jaxon and his siblings — Camden, 12, and Saylor, 9 — will be featured on her new reality series Honestly Cavallari: The Headline Tour.
“[Cameras] would come over at 6 a.m., and they would get our normal morning routine of me making breakfast and packing their lunches and taking them to school,” she said at the time. “And even after, we’d be filming at home, you know, and my kids would come home from school, and they’d run in, and they would come on camera.”

Kristin Cavallari isn’t the biggest fan of the superlative her 9-year-old son Jaxon earned at the end of the school year. Cavallari, 37, took to Instagram Stories on Wednesday, May 22, to share a photo of Jaxon’s certificate, which boasted: “Most Likely to Be on a Reality TV Show.” The Uncommon James founder captioned the […]
Cavallari, whose own career began on reality TV on Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County and The Hills, emphasized how fun it was to shoot with her kids.
“I’m really excited for people to see that, to see how normal my life is, honestly,” she continued, adding that her kids were “so fun on camera” and “were 100 percent themselves” while filming the new reality show, which premieres on Thursday, June 5, on E!. “I was really nervous the first few times I filmed, and I just assumed that’s sort of how everyone else would be, but my kids were so cute and just themselves, and it was really sweet to see.”
Despite all the fun the family had, Cavallari also added that she is being careful about how much time her kids spend in front of a camera. “To be able to have that little piece with my kids was really fun,” she said, while explaining she doesn’t want her children to be “too exposed.”
“I just think it’s a really fine line with children and entertainment and media, like, in my career. I’ve just always wanted to keep them kids. And I just never want them to feel used, quite honestly,” Cavallari said.
Part of the reason she wants to bring her kids on to her new show is that she didn’t have them on Very Cavallari — a decision she revealed she ultimately regrets.

Kristin Cavallari is opening up about the unexpected emotional reaction she had to her son Camden getting tackled hard in his football game. “This was not my intention, by the way, to cry. “That was the one thing with Very Cavallari — my kids are the biggest part of my life and them not being on Very Cavallari really did a disservice to myself,” Cavallari shared. “I did a disservice to myself because if I can’t show the biggest part of my life, well, now we’re having to fill in all of these areas that would normally be my kids, and we’re having to force storylines.”
