Kylie Kelce is not giving her stamp of approval to the push present trend.
“For anyone unfamiliar with push presents, it’s basically a gift given by dad to new mom for growing a child. Can you tell by my explanation that I’m not quite a fan?” Kelce, 33, said in a Monday, April 7, bonus clip from her “Not Gonna Lie” podcast. “They can be expensive like these designer bags, sentimental like this baby band, or edible, like a sushi platter.”
While she’s “not necessarily a fan” of a push present, Kylie said it’s “very sweet” to have a postpartum meal like a sushi platter — which husband Jason Kelce attempted to gift the now mom of four.
“Jason did try to get me sushi yesterday when we came home but our favorite sushi spot was not open yesterday,” she said. “So we’re probably going to do it today or tomorrow. Oh I forgot about that, that’s exciting.”

Courtesy of Kylie Kelce/Instagram Jason Kelce and his wife, Kylie Kelce, are tackling her fourth pregnancy like pros. “I got it pretty easy, I’m not gonna lie,” Jason, 37, told E! News in an interview published on Monday, November 25. “There’s another girl, so the clothes are all going to be hand-me-downs or already bought. […]
Despite not loving the idea, Kylie shared that she’s gotten good use out of the gift Jason, 37, gave her after welcoming eldest daughter Wyatt.
“I will say Jason got me one of my favorite pieces of jewelry that I have ever gotten, which is — I believe it’s called an itty bitty initial necklace from Zoë Chicco,” Kylie said. “And it just has a little W on it, it’s a very dainty little chain. It has a W and then a diamond and it’s offset.”
She continued, “I wear this all the time. I actually still wear it and it was a push present for Wyatt. To be clear, I do know that we’re on our fourth kid. So I have switched to saying that the W counts for Wyatt and it now counts for Winnie. It’s fine.”
Kylie noted that it’s OK to give a gift to the mom, but the term “push present” makes it sound like a “reward.”

Jason Kelce has already done some holiday shopping for his wife, Kylie Kelce, but keeping her gift hidden is proving to be a challenge. During the Wednesday, November 22, episode of their “New Heights” podcast, Travis Kelce asked Jason, 36, whether he knew what to get Kylie, 31, for Christmas this year. “I actually already […]
“I also don’t love getting gifts, maybe that’s part of the problem. I don’t love getting gifts, so that could be the issue,” she said. “This is not like a ‘pick me moment,’ I genuinely do not like getting gifts. I don’t like it. I would rather go and do something together than receive a gift. Through and through. I’d rather go to dinner, I’d rather go and see a show or a concert. I would rather go and have an experience together than receive a gift. And also, let’s just be thoughtful most of the time. But also, if that’s how you want to say, ‘Hey, get me this gift,’ have at it. Gift giving is not one of my things.”
The conversation comes days after Kylie revealed that she and the former Philadelphia Eagles center welcomed their fourth daughter. (Kylie and Jason, who tied the knot in 2018, are also parents to daughters Ellie, 4, and Bennett, 2.)
“Whoop, there she is!” Kylie captioned an Instagram photo of the newborn, who was born on March 30. “Finnley ‘Finn’ Anne Kelce.”
The upload received a congratulatory message from Jason’s brother, Travis Kelce, who wrote, “Finnley!!! 😍😍😍” — and subtle support from his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, who dropped a “like” on the post.
