Kylie Kelce Shares Advice to Moms of Multiple Kids: Don’t ‘Scroll Back’

As a new mother of four, Kylie Kelce has some advice for fellow moms of multiple children.

“It’s almost as bad as Googling on your fourth kid when you start scrolling back in your camera roll to see what your other children were doing at this age,” Kylie said on the Thursday, May 29, episode of her “Not Gonna Lie” podcast — her first since maternity leave. “It’s a bad idea. It’s not a good idea. And I would like to stop doing it, but I can’t.”

She added: “In case you are wondering, I am still Googling things ‘cause that doesn’t stop either. It’s similar to when people say to me, ‘Well, you have four kids, what’s your advice?’ No. I don’t have any advice. I actually still have no idea what I’m doing.”

Kylie, 33, welcomed her fourth daughter, Finnley “Finn,” with husband Jason Kelce in March. The couple also shares Wyatt, 5, Ellie, 4, Bennett, 2. Although Kylie said she’s trying her best “to soak in all of the baby,” it hasn’t been easy adjusting to life with four kids under 5. But, she added, it also hasn’t been terrible.

“If I had to describe the change going from three kids to four kids in two words or less? ‘Holy s***,’” she joked before adding, “It’s not terrible. Let’s go with, ‘Not terrible.’ That sounds better. ‘Not terrible,’ those are my two words. If you ask me on a day when [Finn] does a two-hour stretch night, I could do it in one word and that word would be, ‘F***.’ We’re winging it.”

Kylie said Finn is a contact sleeper, meaning she spends “three to five hours of the day” carrying the newborn or holding her in a baby wrap.

“First of all, I just want to get ahead of something — maternity leave is not a break or vacation,” she said at the top of the episode. “That is a crazy concept. Do you think I was just kicking up my feet and laying out by the pool and chilling? You’d be wrong. I birthed a child who prefers contact naps. That’s right, I got another Wyatt sleeper.”

As for how Wyatt and her sisters have been adjusting to the new baby, Kylie said her eldest daughters have been “super helpful.”

“They will go and get me diapers. They wanna talk to her. She very much locks in on their faces and is distracted from an upset moment by their voices and by how close they get, which is, I mean, one of the cutest things you’ve ever seen in your whole life,” Kylie said of Wyatt and Ellie.

Bennett, however, isn’t as enthralled by her baby sister since she’s no longer the youngest in the Kelce household.

“Benny is the only one who’s not interested in what she’s doing and likes to pretend like she’s not there,” Kylie shared of her third child. “I put Finn down on the floor to change her diaper. And for some reason, Benny stood up and ran straight at me full speed, and I had to put my hand out. Of course, I was ready for it. We’ve done this a couple times now.”

Of Finn, Kylie said she’s deep in the “eat, sleep, poop, cry” phase of life and her looks are changing every day.

“I can’t necessarily say she still looks as aggressively like Jason but the Kelce genes are strong, guys. I made Kelce women,” she joked. “There’s very little McDevitt gene coming through, and that’s OK because it turns out my husband makes very cute girls. But I would like a little … just a little credit when you look at ‘em. Like, ‘Mmm, maybe? Maybe she did build them.’”
