Lady Gaga is celebrating her fiancé, Michael Polansky.
On Friday, Sept. 26, the Mayhem artist posted a sweet Instagram tribute to mark Polansky’s 42nd birthday.
The Grammy winner, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta, penned a heartfelt message to Polansky and included three photos of the couple embracing each other. One photo captured a moment between the couple kissing at a farm, with goats watching them.
Another image included the couple hugging each other in front of a food truck. She capped the images off with his birthday cake and its singular candle.
“Happy Birthday to my honey,” her caption began. “I hope 42 is your best year yet, you have done so much in your 42 years I am so proud of you every day—and so grateful for this day you came into the world, it was the most special day.”
“This is my favorite day of the year! A crisp and almost rainy day, a long walk, with the backdrop of a sweet birthday smile and lots of laughter and angel food cake with chocolate sauce.”
“Even this goat knows what a happy day your birthday is to me😊,” she wrote. “I love you 💋.”
Her tribute to Polanski comes weeks after she honored him when she accepted the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards Artist of the Year on Sept. 7.
The next day, she penned a heartfelt Instagram message, remarking on the couple’s creative collaboration on her sixth album, Mayhem.
“Dreaming up this album, making the plan, building every vision with you — talking endlessly about what we would create and do for monsters has been an experience I could not have ever imagined,” the singer wrote, adding, “Having your creative partnership in our art, business and in love–is a love I’ve never known.”
Gaga previously said it was Polansky who encouraged her to lean back into the “joy” of pop music, inspiring her latest album. He is credited as a writer on a number of tracks, including “Disease” and “Vanish into You.”
At a Los Angeles tour stop in July, the Grammy winner also shouted out her future husband, calling him “the love of my life.”
Gaga first revealed her engagement to Polansky at the Summer Olympics in Paris in July 2024. While spectating a swimming event alongside the entrepreneur and French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal, she introduced Polansky as “my fiancé.”

Gaga later shared in an October 2024 cover story for Vogue that Polansky popped the question while the two were rock climbing together.
The A Star Is Born actress also told the magazine that she was “so happy” in her relationship with Polansky, with whom she was first romantically linked in 2020.
“I had never met anyone like Michael,” she gushed. “He’s so smart and so kind. And his life and my life are very different. He’s a very private guy and he’s not with me for any other reason than that we are right for each other.”
