Lady Gaga Hits Up In-N-Out Burger After Mind-Blowing Coachella Performance

Lady Gaga could only think of one way to celebrate her instantly iconic Coachella performance: a trip to In-N-Out Burger.

The pop star, 39, was spotted inside a California outpost of the fast food eatery in the wee hours of Saturday, April 12, following her Friday night headlining performance at the music festival. The Grammy winner was dressed casually by Gaga standards, wearing black platform boots, a hoodie, sunglasses and feather-covered beanie.

While it’s not known what she ordered, Gaga waited for her food on a bench near the counter, chatting with the person sitting next to her and fiddling with her gold chain. She also took a moment to snap a selfie with a fan inside the restaurant.

Gaga’s quest for sustenance came soon after she blew fans away on the main stage at Coachella with a nearly two-hour set that included cuts from her latest album, Mayhem, as well as classic hits like “Poker Face,” “Born This Way” and “Bad Romance.” The “Speechless” hitmaker last headlined the fest in 2017 when she replaced Beyoncé while the latter was pregnant with twins Rumi and Sir, now 7.

Lady Gaga and Michael Polansky have celebrated their love for one another since going public in 2019. Two months after the pair were seen spending New Year’s Eve 2020 together in Las Vegas, Us Weekly exclusively confirmed that Polansky attended Gaga’s Super Bowl performance. Gaga (whose real name is Stefani Germanotta) and Polansky celebrated their […]

The “Abracadabra” singer’s set was full of viral moments, from her guitar-playing during “Garden of Eden” to a chess game with herself during “Poker Face” and dancing with a skeleton for “Zombieboy.”

Fans were also attuned to the presence of Gaga’s fiancé, Michael Polansky, who was watching from a raised platform and kept turning around to look at the audience’s reaction. At one point, Gaga blew him a kiss from the stage.

Gaga has said Polansky was instrumental in helping convince her to make another pop album after her detours into jazz with the late Tony Bennett. “Michael is the person who told me to make a new pop record. He was like, ‘Babe. I love you. You need to make pop music,’” she told Vogue in September 2024.

In the same article, Polansky himself added, “Like anyone would do for the person they love, I encouraged her to lean into the joy of it. On the Chromatica tour, I saw a fire in her; I wanted to help her keep that alive all the time and just start making music that made her happy.”

The pair confirmed their engagement in July 2024 after four years of dating. As Gaga told Apple Music’s Zane Lowe last month, the Mayhem track “Blade of Grass” is about that milestone.

“Michael asked me how I would want him to propose to me one day,” she explained. “We were in our backyard, and I said, ‘Take a blade of grass and wrap it around my finger.’ And then I wrote ‘Blade of Grass’ because I remembered the way his face looked and I remembered the grass in the backyard and I remember thinking, ‘He should use that really long grass that’s in the center of the backyard.’”

Gaga is set to perform again at Coachella’s second weekend on Friday, April 18.
