Lauren Sánchez and Jeff Bezos are cozying up in Cannes.
On Thursday, May 22, the couple enjoyed a glamorous date night at the annual amfAR Gala taking place during the Cannes Film Festival.
Sánchez, 55, sparkled in a multicolored dress with shades of blue, purple and silver. The gown featured a strapless sweetheart neckline, intricate beading and short train. The former news anchor wore her hair in a bouncy blowout and kept her makeup soft and subtle.
Bezos, for his part, opted for a classic black tuxedo. In one snap, the couple poses together at a table, with the Amazon founder, 61, gazing at his soon-to-be-bride as she plants a kiss on his cheek.
The star-studded charity event raises money for AIDS research and is widely known as one of the most glamorous events of the French film festival. This year’s gala is hosted by Taraji P. Henson with fellow guests including Colman Domingo, Heidi Klum and Adrien Brody.
Earlier this month, Sánchez celebrated her bachelorette party ahead of her wedding to Bezos. The festivities kicked off at Lafayette’s in Paris on Thursday, May 15, with a guest list including Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Katy Perry and Eva Longoria.
“The atmosphere was very relaxed and very Parisian,” a source exclusively told PEOPLE of the event.
“It was a pre-wedding all-girl party for 13,” the insider continued.

At the restaurant, the women drank “espresso martinis and everybody got up and danced when Lauren asked for ‘Earth, Wind and Fire,’ ” the source shared. Their meal concluded with a surprise vanilla meringue cake for Sánchez.
The philanthropist posted photos on Instagram alongside her friends, celebrating the occasion. The post included several black and white snaps of the group of women and ended with a photo of her, Perry, 40, Kardashian, 44, and Jenner, 69, posing together.
“Forever starts with friendship, surrounded by the women who’ve lifted me up, illuminated my path in dark times, and shaped my heart along the way. 🤍,” Sánchez captioned the Thursday, May 17 Instagram post.
Ahead of the celebration, Sánchez led an all-female space expedition — that included Perry and Gayle King — via Bezos’ company Blue Origin. She also recently authored her first children’s book — The Fly Who Flew to Space — about a fly who is “bad at school and kind of wanders and gets stuck in a space capsule.”

PEOPLE previously confirmed that Sánchez and Bezos sent out their wedding invitations, and are planning to marry in Italy off the coast of Venice on their $500 million yacht named Koru in June. The highly anticipated nuptials are expected to have a star-studded guest list.
The couple went public with their relationship in 2019, and Bezos proposed to Sánchez in May 2023, PEOPLE confirmed at the time.
