Reunited — and it feels so good!
PEOPLE can confirm that Lindsay Lohan’s The Parent Trap costar Elaine Hendrix makes a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it cameo in the trailer for the actress’ latest film, Freakier Friday, a soon-to-be-released sequel to 2003’s Freaky Friday.
Around the 1:18 mark, Hendrix, 54, can be seen in a white button-down shirt and black tie standing next to another woman, as both appear to be working as wait staff.
Hendrix first worked with Lohan, 38, in 1998’s The Parent Trap, in which she starred as the villainous Meredith Blake opposite twins Hallie Parker and Annie James, both portrayed by Lohan.

Disney debuted the first teaser trailer for Freakier Friday, the long-awaited sequel directed by Nisha Ganatra, on March 14.
The film sees Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis reprise their roles as mother-daughter duo Anna and Tess Coleman as they swap bodies with two others — 22 years after their first time doing so.

“The story picks up years after Tess (Curtis) and Anna (Lohan) endured an identity crisis. Anna now has a daughter of her own and a soon-to-be stepdaughter. As they navigate the myriad challenges that come when two families merge, Tess and Anna discover that lightning might indeed strike twice,” a synopsis for the project teases.
Mark Harmon, Chad Michael Murray, Christina Vidal Mitchell, Haley Hudson, Lucille Soong, Stephen Tobolowsky and Rosalind Chao are among the returning actors from 2003’s original, while Vanessa Bayer, Julia Butters, Manny Jacinto, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan and Sophia Hammons have joined in new roles.
The Parent Trap, meanwhile, was a remake of a 1961 Disney classic. It follows identical twins who were separated at birth as they reunite by accident at a summer camp and decide to switch places to get their unsuspecting parents back together.
The film introduced the world to a young Lohan, then just 12, and featured a stacked cast that also included Dennis Quaid, Natasha Richardson and Lisa Ann Walter alongside Hendrix.
Earlier this month, Lohan shared a photo of herself on Instagram at the 2025 Vanity Fair Oscar Party. In the comment section, Hendrix replied, “Being young & beautiful is not a crime you know 🔥” — a reference to a quote in The Parent Trap where Hendrix’s Meredith levels with Lohan’s character.
Freakier Friday is in theaters on Aug. 8.
