Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin don’t have the best memories of their daughter Amelia Gray’s 13th birthday party.
“When we first went to Paris with the kids, Amelia was 13 and she wanted to have her 13th birthday, where?” Rinna, 61, asked her husband, 73, on the Friday, February 28, episode of their “Let’s Not Talk About the Husband” podcast. Hamlin then revealed that Amelia really wanted to celebrate the milestone at Le Jules Verne, the famed restaurant inside the Eiffel Tower that was then helmed by chef Alain Ducasse.
Hamlin further recalled that Amelia, now 23, was “like a stinger missile” in convincing her parents to organize her dream party.
“Whatever she wants, she gets, by the way,” Hamlin explained. “That’s why Amelia Gray is a supermodel because she gets whatever she wants when she wants it. She sets her mind to it and there it comes.”

Rinna and Hamlin — who also share 26-year-old daughter Delilah Belle — ultimately obliged with “master manifester” Amelia’s birthday request.
“She really, really wanted to go to the Eiffel Tower and eat at the Alain Ducasse restaurant. It’s all she talked about,” Hamlin said. “We finally got the reservation. It was sunset [and] it was absolutely beautiful.”
Despite the incredible scenery and picturesque views, the Rinna-Hamlin brood was stunned that the menu only featured “pigeon and escargot.”
“She looked [at the menu] and went, ‘But where are the chicken tenders? Where’s the hamburger? Where’s the mac and cheese?’” Hamlin recalled of his daughter. “She ended up not eating a thing. It was a prix fixe [menu]. The bill was a couple thousand dollars — and I was the only person who ate anything. I ate all the escargot, all the pigeon [and] all the stuff. I have a palate. I enjoy fine food, [and] they enjoy chicken fingers and French fries.”

Harry Hamlin is more than just an actor and entrepreneur — he’s a certified foodie! One of the most memorable dishes Hamlin, 72, has ever had was the meal he ordered on his first date with wife Lisa Rinna, whom he met in 1992. “Spaghetti with garlic and oil at Toscana in Brentwood,” Hamlin reveals […]
According to Rinna, she and Amelia only “ate the bread” that accompanied the formal dishes during the birthday meal.
Hamlin did acknowledge that the couple’s kids — he also is father to eldest son Dimitri from a past relationship — are more willing to try new cuisine as adults.
“Their palates have expanded now,” Hamlin said. “They now are a little more sophisticated than when we went to Paris the first time. I think they try that stuff out [and] they are now eating oysters.”
Rinna, meanwhile, still maintains a picky diet.
“I don’t like oysters and I don’t like caviar,” the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum proclaimed on Friday’s episode. “Everyone loves me because they get my caviar. I’ve never had caviar. … My friends love to be around me when caviar comes around because they get my caviar. On that show I was on, Housewives, it was a big deal to serve caviar. No thanks.”
