Love Is Blind participant Kylie Schuelke has jokes about her romance with Brian Sumption being cut from season 8.
“Love is blind … and so was my screen time,” Kylie, 28, wrote via Instagram on Thursday, February 20. “Trust me — I had a great time and wouldn’t trade this experience for anything!”
The medical student uploaded a series of screenshots from her time in the women’s lounge and in the pods, setting the post to Taylor Swift’s 1989 (Taylor’s Version) vault track “Is It Over Now?”
Kylie was one of the Minnesota singles cast on season 8 of the Netflix experiment, where she fell in love with Brian, 30, sight unseen. Their romance, however, was not featured in the new episodes. (While viewers saw five couples get engaged, EP Chris Coelen later confirmed that two other couples similarly popped the question but weren’t shown on the broadcast.)
“From the pods to reality — what a journey,” Kylie and Brian wrote in a joint Instagram post earlier this week. “Grateful for every moment, every lesson, and everyone I met along the way. Love Is Blind — you were a wild, unforgettable ride.”
In the pair’s social media hard launch, Kylie and Brian shared a kiss in front of his Troubadour Wine Bar.
In addition to finding love with Brian, Kylie also left the pods with a crew of new friends.
“You got bars. I just wanted to see you saying ‘Aren’t we all boyfriends and girlfriends?!’” Brittany Dodson wrote via Instagram comment on Thursday, to which Kylie confessed she was “still confused by this concept.”
Molly Mullaney also concurred that the ladies had a blast behind the scenes.
“Someone give us a funny moments reel and put that in there stat,” Molly, 30, replied. “Along with the lime moment lmao.”
Fellow pod alum Ashley Suter also chimed in, writing, “Love you.”

Since the premiere of Love Is Blind in 2020, fans have wondered how effective the concept of speed-dating without seeing the other person actually is. The show, which has aired seven seasons and spawned multiple international iterations, follows singles dating in pods over the course of 10 days. The kicker, of course, is that they […]
Kylie also reposted Tiera Shavone and Casandra Ann’s own tributes about their similarly cut LiB journeys.
“Dear God, When You told me I’d get the Love Is Blind opportunity, I believed You. When You told me I was on an assignment, I understood—but I still held onto hope that I might find love. I went into the experience hopeful, but I left feeling so fulfilled,” Tiera, 34, wrote via Instagram. “Without even trying, I reflected Your glory and all You’ve done for me. I praised You, but I never judged those who didn’t. I moved in love. I moved in light. And hearing people say their lives were changed just by witnessing my love for You — it made me feel so unworthy. But isn’t that just like You? You don’t call the qualified; You qualify the called.”
She added, “To all the women I had the privilege of being cast with — I love you all! You were lights in my life when the world felt so dark.”
Casandra, 30, meanwhile, gushed that she “found something even more special in the pods.”
Love Is Blind is currently streaming on Netflix. New episodes drop weekly.
