Mariska Hargitay is showing up for Lindsey Vonn.
On Monday, Feb. 16, Vonn shared a black-and-white snap to her Instagram Stories, showing the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit star visiting her in the hospital as she undergoes multiple surgeries to correct an injury she sustained in the 2026 Winter Olympics.
The image features Hargitay, 62, comforting Vonn, 41, at her bedside. The Olympian captioned the snap with three heart emojis and tagged Hargitay, who later reposted it to her own Instagram Stories.

Hargitay, who previously called Vonn a "Superhero" in the comments of one of her injury updates, also referred to Vonn as her "Galentine" in a caption over the weekend. In the post, she could be seen kissing Snoop Dogg's t-shirt, which featured an image of Vonn's face.
"And sending a little love to my Galentine @lindseyvonn 😘," she wrote.
"❤️ U!!!!!," Vonn wrote in response.
While it isn't clear how the friends met, Vonn also has some Law & Order experience under her belt, appearing on an episode of the mainline show in 2010. Vonn previously supported Hargitay in June 2025 at the Tribeca premiere of her documentary, My Mom Jayne.

On Feb. 8, Vonn suffered a complex tibia fracture during the women’s downhill event in Italy while competing with a ruptured ACL. She has remained in the hospital amid multiple surgeries, telling fans in a Monday, Feb. 16 update that she's thankful for the "friends, family, my team and all the medical staff that are getting me back to myself."
“I’m slowly coming back to life, back to basics and the simple things in life that mean the most. Smile. Laugh. Love. 🙏🏻❤️”
In a Feb. 14 post, she urged fans not to be “sad” for her and asked for love, support and empathy. “When I think back on my crash, I didn’t stand in the starting gate unaware of the potential consequences. I knew what I was doing,” she wrote. “I chose to take a risk. Every skier in that starting gate took the same risk. Because even if you are the strongest person in the world, the mountain always holds the cards.”
She added that she'd always choose to take a risk as opposed to not trying and potentially regretting it. “The ride was worth the fall. When I close my eyes at night I don’t have regrets and the love I have for skiing remains,” Vonn wrote.
She concluded, “I am still looking forward to the moment when I can stand on the top of the mountain once more. And I will. 💪🏻❤️”
